Teddy Bear Art by Jennifer Laing is one of my first and favorite teddy bear making books. Jennifer includes patterns for 3 different bears: A bear cub, a standing dressed bear and a bear on all fours.



What makes this book an invaluable resource, however, is the wonderful section on bear pattern design! Jennifer not only describes several bear pattern design methods - but she also goes thru how to design each part of the pattern. Her head gusset design was a HUGE help to me!

Jennifer also teaches you how about joints for bears, altering your patterns, and even has a section on Running your Bear Business!
